Rated Outstanding overall; inspectors found exceptionally caring, well-led support and Good ratings for safety, effectiveness and responsiveness.

This was the first rated inspection of the newly registered home. The inspection was planned and covered all five areas CQC looks at. One inspector reviewed records, observed care and spoke with seven people, nine staff and seven health and social care professionals.

The home was rated Outstanding overall. Caring and well-led were Outstanding. Safe, effective and responsive were Good. Inspectors found highly personalised care, strong relationships, good partnership working and effective leadership.

People were supported to make choices, become more independent and follow their interests and wishes. Medicines, staffing, risk management and infection control were found to be safe.

    People were treated with dignity and compassion. Inspectors found that staff built trusting relationships and helped people enjoy a better quality of life.

    Staff worked closely with health and social care professionals. Inspectors found examples of this helping people avoid hospital admissions and maintain their placements.
