Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind, and effective care with improvements in leadership and well-led management.
Inspectors visited the home unannounced on two days in April 2018 to check the quality of care and compliance with regulations. They spoke with staff, managers, relatives, and reviewed records including care plans and medicines.
The home provides care for six people with learning disabilities and autism. Inspectors found the home was safe, clean, and well maintained. Staff knew people well and supported them to take positive risks and be independent.
People received effective care with regular health checks and access to therapists. Staff were well trained and supported. People were involved in planning meals and activities suited to their interests.
The home was caring and respectful. Staff communicated well with people using different methods and promoted privacy and dignity. The manager had improved leadership since the last inspection and involved people, relatives, and staff in making the service better.

Medicines were stored, administered and audited carefully to keep people safe.
