What inspectors found, January 2019

Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with no serious risks or concerns identified.

Inspectors visited the home without notice on 6 December 2018. They spoke with all five people living there, the registered manager and one care worker. They reviewed two care files and other records.

All five areas were rated Good: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. Inspectors found enough staff, safe medicines arrangements, suitable training and good support with healthcare, food and drink.

People were treated with kindness and respect. They were involved in their care, supported to remain independent and helped to take part in activities and community life. The home had also been rated Good at the previous inspection.
