What inspectors found, December 2021
Rated Outstanding; inspectors found exceptionally caring and well-led support, with all five areas rated Good or Outstanding.
This was the home’s first inspection since it registered. The inspector visited on 17 August and 12 November 2021, spoke with people, relatives, staff and a health professional, and reviewed care, medicines, recruitment and management records.
Three people lived in the home, which supports younger adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. Inspectors found people were safe, received effective and personalised support, and had their health, nutrition, communication and rights supported.
Care was rated Outstanding because staff knew people very well, treated them with dignity and helped them build confidence, skills and independence. The home was also rated Outstanding for leadership, with strong oversight, learning and involvement of people in how the home was run.
The overall rating of Outstanding is CQC’s highest rating. Safe, Effective and Responsive were rated Good, meaning inspectors found these areas met a good standard.
