Rated Good, with Outstanding responsive care; inspectors found people safe, well supported and treated kindly.

This was the first inspection since the home registered in 2019. Inspectors visited on 19, 21 and 26 July 2021. They spoke with people, relatives, staff and a healthcare professional, observed care, and checked care, medicines, recruitment and management records.

The home was rated Good overall. Safe, Effective, Caring and Well-led were all rated Good. Inspectors found people were protected from avoidable harm, received effective support, were treated with kindness and dignity, and benefited from positive leadership.

Responsive was rated Outstanding. Inspectors found exceptional efforts to understand people's past lives, interests and relationships. The home provided personalised activities and support that helped people maintain their identity, develop friendships and avoid social isolation.
