Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with strong activities and management.
This was an unannounced inspection on 31 January 2023. Inspectors spoke with people using the home, relatives, staff and health and social care professionals. They also observed care and checked care plans, medicine records, staff files and management records.
The home was rated Good in all five areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. Inspectors found enough staff, safe medicines support, suitable risk assessments and good infection control. Staff were trained and worked well with other professionals.
People were treated with kindness, dignity and respect. They were involved in decisions about their care and had personalised activities, food choices and support. Inspectors described a positive and inclusive culture, with people, relatives and staff involved in improving the home.
Kind and respectful care
People were supported by staff who knew them well and treated them with dignity. Staff asked about people's choices and respected their privacy.

Care plans included people's preferences, life histories and communication needs. Staff followed these details in day-to-day care.
