- 01How will you assess and review my relative's individual risks and goals before they move in?
- 02What medicines support would my relative receive, and how would you support them if they wanted to manage medicines themselves?
- 03What training and supervision will the staff supporting my relative have for their mental health and other care needs?
- 04How would you support my relative to maintain independence, access the community and follow their interests?
- 05How would my relative and our family give feedback, raise concerns and take part in care planning reviews?
This was the first comprehensive inspection since registration and covered all five ratings; the inspection included infection prevention and control, and the report says the previous provider was last rated Good in 2020. “We can all fully relax around Nyarai and she feels like part of our family, which is no mean feat!”
“If you bump into her in the night on her way to the bathroom she will still inquire how you are and if everything is alright.”
Every carer has had an enhanced DBS check in the last 18 months, ID and right-to-work checks and an online interview. Their skills and training are for you to check with them. Carers set their own rates, and who is free changes week to week.
