Hurst Green Road was rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care with strong management.

The inspection visit took place on 19 July 2017 and was announced 48 hours beforehand. One inspector observed care, spoke with staff and a relative, reviewed three people's records and two staff records, and checked quality monitoring information.

The home supported up to four people with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder. Three people were living there during the inspection. Inspectors found enough trained staff, safe medicines practice, suitable risk assessments and good support with health, food and everyday choices.
