Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with annual feedback surveys not yet completed.

This was the home's first planned CQC inspection. It was a comprehensive, announced visit on 29 January 2019. An inspector spoke with people living there, a relative, managers and staff, and reviewed care, staffing, medicines and management records.

The home was rated Good overall and Good in all five areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. Inspectors found suitable staffing, safe medicines systems, trained staff and detailed care plans.

People were treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Staff supported people's choices, independence, activities and community life. Managers used audits and worked with other organisations to monitor the service and make improvements.

    Inspectors observed staff treating people with kindness, patience and respect. Staff supported privacy and helped people maintain independence.
