Inspected but not rated; inspectors were assured that infection prevention and control measures were in place.
This was an announced, targeted inspection on 25 January 2021. It was carried out because of the coronavirus pandemic and looked at infection prevention and control in the home.
Inspectors found that visitors were screened, given temperature checks and provided with masks and protective equipment. They also found increased cleaning, good hygiene, staff using protective equipment correctly, and regular COVID-19 testing for people and staff.
The home had individual COVID-19 risk assessments for people and staff had completed relevant training. Inspectors were assured about infection prevention, but the home was not given an overall rating or a rating for Safe.
Visitor safety
Visitors completed health screening, had their temperature checked and were given masks and access to protective equipment and hand hygiene facilities.

What inspectors found, October 2017
Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with all five areas rated Good.
Inspectors visited unannounced on 14 and 22 September 2017. They spoke with people living at the home, relatives, staff and health professionals. They also reviewed care, medicines, complaints, recruitment and quality records, and observed care in communal areas.
The home remained Good, as it was at the previous inspection. Inspectors found that people were safe, received suitable support with medicines, food and healthcare, and were cared for by trained staff.
People were treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Care plans reflected individual needs, people could join activities, and relatives felt involved. The management team was open and used checks and feedback to improve the home.
People felt safe
People and relatives said they felt safe. Staff understood safeguarding and followed plans to reduce risks to people's safety and wellbeing.

Kind and respectful care
Inspectors saw staff greet people warmly, respond to requests and protect people's dignity and privacy.

Personalised support
Care plans covered people's individual needs, what mattered to them and their preferred routines. Staff adjusted their approach to each person.
