The latest report, explained

What inspectors found, February 2019

Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with effective management and no identified breaches.

This was the home’s first inspection since it registered in February 2018. Inspectors visited on 28 January 2019. They observed care, spoke with eight people, five families and 11 staff, and reviewed care records and other documents.

Inspectors found the home safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. There were enough staff, medicines were managed safely, and people’s risks and changing needs were assessed. People were treated with dignity and kindness, and had choices about their daily lives, meals and activities.

The home was clean and had good systems for checking quality and acting on improvements. A Good rating means inspectors found the service met the standards they checked at that inspection. It does not mean that every aspect was perfect or that conditions cannot change.
