Gledholt Mews & Coach House is rated Good overall, with Outstanding leadership and person-centred care that supported safety, dignity and independence.
This was the first inspection since the home registered. It was unannounced and took place on 30 June 2021. Two inspectors spoke with six people living there, staff and a visiting professional. They reviewed care records, medicines records, staff recruitment files and management records.
Inspectors found the home safe, effective, caring and responsive, all rated Good. People said they felt safe and were treated with dignity and respect. Medicines were managed safely, staffing levels met people's needs, and people were supported with healthcare, healthy eating, activities and community life.
Well-led was rated Outstanding. Inspectors found a strong culture in which people and staff shared the same goals. People were involved in their care planning and daily meetings, and the home worked closely with health professionals. The overall Good rating means the service met the CQC's expected standard across all five areas, with exceptionally strong leadership.
