What inspectors found, June 2022

Flexi Coventry Limited was rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with no breaches reported.

This was a planned inspection of the domiciliary care agency on 17 May 2022. Inspectors spoke with one person, three relatives, nine staff and a healthcare professional. They reviewed care records, staff files, policies and other management records.

The agency was providing personal care to nine people in their own homes. Inspectors found that risks were managed, medicines were given safely and staff were recruited and trained appropriately. People received support with food, healthcare, communication and personal choices.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care. Staff were described as kind, respectful and compassionate. Care plans were personalised and kept up to date, and the management team used audits, feedback and incident reviews to monitor quality.

All five areas were rated Good: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The newly registered care home at the same address was not inspected or rated because it had not opened.
