Dell Field Court was rated Good; inspectors found safe, effective and well-led care during a focused inspection.

Inspectors visited the home without notice on 22 December 2021. They spoke with people living there, relatives, staff and a health professional. They reviewed care records, staff files, medicines, infection control and management records.

The home was rated Good for Safe, Effective and Well-led. Inspectors found enough staff, safe medicines systems, suitable risk assessments and effective infection control. People received support with food, healthcare, choices and cultural needs.

This was a focused inspection during the COVID-19 pandemic. It did not assess Caring or Responsive. The overall rating was Good, and the Safe, Effective and Well-led ratings remained Good from the previous inspection.
