Inspected but not rated; inspectors found good infection-control and safe visiting arrangements.

This was a targeted inspection on 26 April 2022. It looked at infection prevention and control, visiting arrangements and whether COVID-19-related staffing pressures were affecting the home.

Inspectors found that the home was clean and had detailed infection-control procedures. Staff had extra training on hand washing and personal protective equipment, and inspectors saw appropriate PPE being used.

People's relatives and friends were supported to visit safely. The home had arrangements for testing, safe admissions, preventing outbreaks and keeping people and visitors informed. The service was inspected but not rated, so this visit does not give an overall quality rating.

Inspected but not rated; inspectors found good infection control, safe visiting arrangements and enough COVID-19 precautions.

This was a targeted inspection on 25 February 2022. It looked mainly at infection prevention and control during the COVID-19 pandemic, and at whether staffing pressures were affecting people. The visit was announced one hour beforehand.

Inspectors found that the home was following national guidance. Staff used protective equipment safely, supplies were available, and people and staff were tested regularly. The home was clean, with cleaning schedules and extra cleaning arrangements in place.

Relatives spoke positively about visiting and communication. The report does not give an overall quality rating, or a rated result for Safe. It was a focused check rather than a full inspection of all areas of care.
